The spool valve is a balanced valve and with its larger valve and seat can operate on lower pressures then other airguns on the market. The EPOCH uses a LP Regulator that is preset from the factory and its function is closing the valve and The HP Regulator will be your main reg for tuning and both can be adjusted up and down under pressure. No Belleville washers are used in their regulator system. The EPOCH utilizes a 500cc 300Bar (4350psi) Bottle. The onboard computer is at the center of the EPOCH and allows the shooter to tune easily without any extra equipment needed. The EPOCH will come with 3 barrel inserts of matching caliber and each one is housed in a carbon fiber sleeve for rigidity and each is engraved for easy identification. The EPOCH utilizes a picatinny rail and is long enough for accessories. The EPOCH also compatible with MLOK accessories. At the rear of the EPOCH you will find an adjustable cheek riser and a buttstock, adjustable for length of pull and shoulder pad height. 25 inch barrel is standard for 177,22,25 and 30Cal with 35 inch barrel standard on the 35Cal. The modern Bullpup system is known for moving the magazine and chamber behind the trigger. This shortens the overall rifle but the length of the barrel remains the same. Cocking through the side lever is very smooth and comfortable. Thanks to an innovative mechanism, the barrel can not be jammed with a double-feed. At the top of the rifle, we can find a classic 22mm weaver rail for mounting optic system. Compared to previous models, it is inclined by 20MOA. Rail is made from one piece and therefore it is on the same axis as a barrel. Taipan is already equipped with a great internal silencer, which will provide sufficient absorption while shooting. Taipan is known for being one of the best trigger mechanisms which offer variable resistance and dropdown adjustment. The manual safety can be found in the trigger guard. The whole stock is finished with a rubber butt plate.
