BALLISTOL SILENCER CLEANER – 500 ML

The agent is especially recommended for silencers of non-expandable construction. Even the best suppressor, after some time becomes clogged, which increases friction and slows down the fired bullet. Regular maintenance of the suppressor is the best way to ensure optimal performance. The problem arises when the suppressor has an unseparable design, which obviously makes it difficult to access narrow sections. In such a situation, it is worth using Ballistol professional muffler cleaner, which effectively dissolves, removes and rinses away all lingering impurities. The preparation does not contain acids, is odorless, neutral for most materials, and has a surface-active effect.

How to use Ballistol muffler cleaner?
Mufflers of disassembled construction – after disassembling the muffler, its components are immersed in the cleaning agent and left for about 2 hours (standard dirt). After this time, using a soft brush and water, we remove the dirt. Ballistol muffler cleaner can also be used for cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Silencers of non-sealable construction –plugthesilencer on one side tightly (for example, with an earplug), then fill it with Ballistool cleaner and leave it for 2 hours. Standard dirt dissolves after about 2 hours. After this time, we remove the cleaner from the muffler, fill it halfway with warm water, plug the outlets again and shake vigorously. After cleaning, it is recommended to use a muffler surface preservative. In a situation where our muffler is heavily soiled, before application the agent can be heated to 40 ° C and left in the muffler for a longer time, for example, from 4 to 8 hours. For extremely dirty silencers, the application time can be extended up to 24 hours.
Note: Before applying the cleaner properly, check its reaction with the muffler material in an inconspicuous place. A change in the color of the cleaner is a normal phenomenon, signaling the dissolution and neutralization of dirt.

The cleaning rod
The Ballistol cleaning rod consists of 4 metal elements. The first element has a wiping length of approx. 14 cm. You can attach as many of the extension elements supplied to this basic element one after the other and thus gradually achieve a wiping length of up to approx. 70 cm + felt holder 5 tool attachments. The Ballistol cleaning rod is therefore equally suitable for handguns and long guns. Each individual element is equipped with an anti-slip zone that allows it to be tightened and loosened easily, even with oily fingers. With the interchangeable handle, the cleaning rod can be rotated freely and follows the grooves and fields when the barrel is pulled.
The outdoor bag
The gun cleaning bag is equipped with a robust zipper that can be opened or closed from two sides. Two thick cords serve as a pull. The bag is equipped with two compartments and 23 fastening loops on the inside for attaching cleaning utensils. The bag is generously sized so that in addition to the scope of delivery, you can also store other tools for gun care such as a precision oil pen or a gun cleaning set and much more.

This is the reason why Robla Solo was developed further and replaced by Robla Solo MIL. On the basis of the excellent results of a series of tests performed by the German Army?s Institute of Military Research, there followed the decision to use Robla Solo MIL even with special units of the armed forces.Robla Solo MIL consists of very special compounds including ammonia. This formula has not only the power to dissolve any residue of copper, tombac and zinc but also lead, the number one enemy to the precision of a gun. Steel, chrome and nickel are not attacked by Robla Solo MIL.
In case of heavy metal residue it is a good idea to put Robla Solo MIL into the barrel, which must be plugged on one side by means of cork or gum stopper, and then wait for a couple of hours, best overnight, until Robla Solo MIL has done its job. If there is just slight residue to be removed, it suffices to pull a tow (Sucol, Sucolin or Sucolin Extra) or a felt stopper soaked with Robla Solo MIL through the barrel several times.
