The H&N Slug HP is a airgun pellet which differs significantly from the usual pellets due to its bullet shape. It‘s designed for powerful rifles which can shoot such projectiles precisely at targets at 50, 100 or even 200 meters distance. An extremely favorable ballistic coefficient (BC) ensures a flat trajectory and excellent energy retention.
To accommodate different barrel profiles and power levels, we offer options in diameter (.2495 / .2505) and weight. The muzzle energy of the rifle should be at least 40 joules, but for best results we recommend 60 to 90 joules (depending on rifle and the weight of the Slug).
All pellets get lubricated, visually inspected, hand packed and secured for transport with foam pads.

Based on testing results it seems any of our HP .250 slugs can be tuned for FX slug liners.
Some guns may like one weight better than another.Testing so far has been with the 33.5, 36.2 and 38.5 grain. 38.5 grain is heaviest we recommend to fit the FX magazine.
Do not buy these or any slug for standard smooth twist FX barrels.
These do work in Smooth Twist X barrel SLUG liners.

This caliber air gun requires more power than the common 16J which is the (license free) limit in most countries. However, it is very popular among FAC air gun lovers which are usually required to have a firearms license.
